Your Kilimanjaro adventure begins with your arrival in Moshi, the gateway to the mountain. You'll meet your guide and fellow trekkers, receive a briefing about the hike, and have some time to relax and prepare for the journey. After a hearty breakfast, we will drive to the Marangu Gate to officially start your trek. The first day involves a gradual ascent through lush rainforests filled with unique flora and fauna. Leaving Mandara Hut, you'll continue your hike through moorland, with the vegetation gradually changing as you gain altitude. This day is dedicated to acclimatization. You'll hike to Zebra Rock and gain a better understanding of your body's response to the altitude. You'll continue your ascent to Kibo Hut, the last stop before your summit attempt. The weather becomes colder and more unpredictable as you approach the alpine desert zone. Summit day is the most challenging but rewarding part of the trek. You'll start in the early hours to reach the summit, Uhuru Peak, as the sun rises. The weather is frigid and the air is thin, but the sense of accomplishment as you reach the rooftop of Africa is unparalleled. On your final day, you'll descend through the forest once more, with the weather gradually warming. The unique aspect of this day is reflecting on your journey as you make your way to the Marangu Gate, where you'll receive a certificate of accomplishment. From there, you'll return to Moshi, marking the end of your remarkable Kilimanjaro adventure.
